Have you ever been really complimented? I don't mean feeble compliments like "You look nice" or "You don't cost as much as the other girls", I mean really thoughtful ones. I don't know if this was a compliment but the other day a friend of mine said "You never cease to amaze me", which, granted, could be taken as a compliement or an insult, but this was surely a compliment.
It's nice to hear occasionally, very nice indeed.

I get compliments a good bit on my pictures and the like. But I only take some of them seriously. I THOUGHT that this was a topic where you had to compliment someone. ;)

Women are forever complimenting me on my action and technique, which they assure me is second to none.

The most interesting line I've had is: "Flashy, you are like chocolate - too much makes you sick, but you just can't resist one more bite."

Which, seeing as she immediately leapt back in the saddle and set about another frantic gallop (I had to get the belt out in the end), I decided to take as a compliment.

Mind you she was French. And she did know her chocolate.

Took weeks to wash off.

At least, I hope it was chocolate.

I talked to a friend about future, and he asked if I wanted kids. I said that right now I don't, but I know that those opinions tend to change with time. He said it was beautiful words because so few realise that in future their opinions might change a lot from how they are today. That I took as a great compliment. The guy is...Uhm... Special, and compliments on the ways you think are not something you get often from that part.
When it comes to looks, my boyfriend takes care of that very well. :-)

My love compliments me on a daily basis. I'm probably not deserving of his high praise, but the fact that he thinks so well of me makes me love him that much more.
