I e-mailed the official fan club regarding a US release for the 46664 concert on CD/DVD (since it's been announced elsewhere) and here's what she said;

"Hi Michael,

According to Hollywood records they have no plans to release this at the moment.

jacky "

Typical Hollywood Records eh?
Typical Hollywood Records indeed. I am undecided on whether I will buy an over priced import ...

May it is on another label like the Jubilee?

The official announcement said it would be released by Warner Music International. Though it did not explicitly state "worldwide," judging by cities of New York and London listed on the email, plus the aforementioned Jubilee precedent, I assumed it would be released in the States as well.

If so, then Hollywood's comment is not surprising, nor does it rule out a US release.

The official announcement also mentions an April 5th date I believe. The 5th is a Monday and therefore obviously excludes the US since release day in America falls on Tuesdays.
Good to see you back dude.
On the new 46664 mini-site (whatever that means), the DVD is listed as having an NTSC version with English and Canadian French subtitles. This, of course, leads me to believe that it will be released here in North America.

Seems logical to me! :D

1) Japan is NTSC
2) Could mean that an NTSC would be available to order online but not specifically available in US stores.
1) True, but rarely do Japanese consumers fret over CANADIAN FRENCH SUBTITLES
2) True, but we can at least still get a copy

Ordering online will likely mean spending more too. Also of note, since there's not a whiff of the CDs being released in the US, I checked them out on Amazon.co.uk and they cost $19 a piece. If I got all 3, that's roughly $60! That's hardly fair to US fans...and I can only imagine the price of the DVD....*shudder*
I shudder too

Hollywood Records is not always the deciding factor in whether something will be released in the U.S. The Freddie Tribute is released here by Capitol, the Freddie box has an NTSC version available by import..

It sucks that this one might have to be imported, and it's not a very good sign of 'worldwide' awareness, but if you want it bad enough I'm sure you can get it somehow :)
and while several countries have it available for pre-order...still nothing in the US. It seems awfully stupid to ignore the huge US/Canada market.
Cool sully :)

I see it's released by Wea.. aka Warner.
