Keep Passing the Open Windows is a candidate. It possessed all the Queen trademarks: piano, great vocals, wonderful guitar, kick ass hooks...It's a shame Queen didn't even play it live as part of a medley...

Probably would have been a great single, too.

I don't think Innuendo is underrated at all. The Prophet's Song\You Take My Breath Away\Dragon Attack are great songs but very underrated, in my opinion.

I think "Man on the prowl" is very underrated. So what if it sounds a lot like crazy little thing called love. Most groups only have one sound any way. I think this song would have been a hit in the late 50's to early 60's!

Innuendo For sure, but not on fan camp... Other underrated are Friends will be friends( a great hit song back in 1986,but now both fans and press seem to hate this fab pop tune),spread your wings(someone can explain me how this was not a monster hit) and Made In Heaven(why in this world they didn't chose this as a single back in 1995/96?)

Agree, Keep passing the open windows is one of the most underrated songs...ever. Also I could mention Was it all worth it. Both of them would be great singles.

Sweet Lady, Don't Try Suicide, Fat Bottomed Girls, Bicycle Race:
These songs are often criticized by people for its lyrics. Being not a lyrics-oriented I find them quite enjoyable/strong songs. Bicycle Race should be widely discussed as musically the most complex three-minute pop-song.
I also think that "Who Needs You", "Jealousy", and "In Only Seven Days" "My Melancholy Blues", "Dreamers Ball" are horribly underrated when being referred as fillers. With a little luck "Dreamers Ball" could have became a
"standard".
I personally think the guitar intro/outro of "The Prohets Song" should be an as ultimate favourite among young guitar players as "Stairway To Heaven".
I find the eighties albums of Queen are also underrated in context of their contemporaries. Most of them could be rated easily as top 3-5-10 of the actual year.
"No One But You" is another underrated song IMO. For me that was the most memorable tune I heard on the radio that year.
"We Are The Champions" is another underrated song. Of course not in terms of airplay. I think people should listen to this song with headphones paying attention to the MUSIC. People hear this song a million times, but they know hardly anything about the hidden musical treasures of it: the melodic bassline, the guitar arrangement, that short instrumental section before the second verse...

Body Language is pretty much underrated. Most people think it's crap but they're wrong. Body Language is in fact a big pile of crap.

LMAO @ Scully

IMO- Dragon Attack / White Man / It's Late / Prophet's Song / White Queen / Flick Of The Wrist
Those are killer tracks, decent tunes yet not many ppl even know that they exist (general public I mean...)

Jealousy is pretty deep!! That song didnt get the Beatles Let It Be treatment... why???!
if it was more publicised in the fast lane of pop like the beatles then it will surely beat the Beatles stuff.

And cool cat,, thats the most greatest,, chillest, coolest black boy tune to be played by white boys, not only that it was made and created by our own Royal of rock!
Queen how versatile are these lads they can fill almost all your musical needs!
Big up!

Innuendo is a great song, but comparing it with Mozart and Beethoven is taking it way too far.

Personally, I think the most underrated Queen song is "Dancer."

Queen has a lot underrated songs. I think the problem is that a band can only have one hit at the same time. If you make so much great numbers like Queen did, there are songs that don’t reach the publicity.

Innuendo is underrated, but is known by a lot of people. Jealousy and Is This The World We Created great songs too, but a lot of people doesn't even know they excist. That's what I call underrated!

"Innuendo can be compared with any of the classic masterpieces by Mozart, Beethoven and all those guys."

Sure it can, and when you do it, you see they have nothing in common.
I'm sick of those comparisons. Mozart composed more than 600 pieces, concertos, operas and so on. Not four-minute-rock-songs. Big pieces with several movements and dozens of instruments. You can construe thousands and thousands of songs out of that melodic material if you want. Not to talk about the quality of what he produced. He died when he was about 35 years old, so he didn't have much time for that.

I like Innuendo though.
