In the opening seconds of the tape at the Stadium in Chicago, Sept. 19, 1980 you hear all the whistles & cheers all around and some guy sums it all up in one word: Madness!

That's what it was like seeing them during their US peak those few weeks in 1980...crazy! They should have actually been booked in bigger venues...I don't the tour people were ready for the response to the latest album. Most people seemed to know they were seeing rock history.

I have to agree, They really blew me away.. I lost my voice that night I saw them and I didn't know hardly any of their stuff at that time... Freddie RULED.. I really think they should put out a live Vid of the Game Tour...
My Brothers and Sisters all hated me 'cause I was an only child... -Weird Al (Generic Blues) I gave up on books when 'To Kill A Mockingbird' gave me no useful advice on how to kill a mockingbird.

I don't know... I have photos from Dallas 1980 and half of the seats seem to be empty...

Seriously??? Are those on your site somewhere?

It was general admission at ours, so I wonder if maybe too many people were on the main floor instead of in the seats (I'm surprised people weren't smashed and killed actually). Or maybe something went wrong with the Dallas promotion/tickets....

Yeah that's right:

Brian:
"I know some of you have been coming from far away, we appreciate it!"

Somebody in the audience:
"Fucking right there! Play '39 or I'll kill ya!"

No that's no joke! :-)

I do not remember the exact words, but I do remember a crazy man shouting his life out during Brian's performance of Love Of My Life at the Imperator Club, 1992.

Actually, I like the Brixton 2005 guy that says during the Eminem intro, "Get on with it!" The way he says it is hilarious. You also have to understand that Americans love to laugh at the British accent. Not that we are "making fun" of it. We just love the way it sounds, it's very comical to us, well to me at least.

Errm... I actually remember that one! ;-)
And "get your asses on staaaage!!" during track 13 too!

Btw; sorry that ROGER AAAAAHHHH is missing on the Brixton recording... We were just too flabbergasted... Well, 'in awe' actually...
