Bad Trader Alert

Hi,

I usually don't do this outside my blacklist, but this one really pissed me off:
Last august I have sent almost US$ 300 of Queen stuff to GRIELENA TOVAR
from Venezuela to swap for venezuelan items.
I did not received my goods to this day, and she said she did not received the stuff I sent to her either.
I asked her to request a trace, and I did the same.
Then she stopped to reply my emails.
That was sufficient for me to add her to my blacklist.
But what really pissed me off is the fact that TODAY I received a letter from the post office stating that the Venezuelan post office delivered the packet I sent to her, on august 19, 2003, at her house.
In other words - beware of this LIAR & THIEF !

That's too bad, Henrique. It's not only the money that is lost, it's also the disappointment that people who share your hobby rip you off in such an unscrupulous manner. All you can do is forget about her and be glad about the honest people you deal with.

One collector from Holland told me she "offered" him the same items she "offered" to me >:-/
My black list is incredibly small considering 27 years of trading.
Bad traders are of course exceptions.
If I was going to write a "white list" it would take ages for an internet browser to load :)

The worst part is that for some reason Latin American people have that horrible fame of thieves, just because very few of them who are. But also most of the thieves are from South America or Mexico, so in a way "we" deserve it

Well, I am from South America too :)
There are all kinds of people everywhere - I even had a person from Japan (well known for very reliable traders) on my black list some years ago... until he saw his name on it and sent me the goodies ;)

It's good that there a lot of very nice and kind people from South America aswell :)

Thank you for letting us/me know about this. I am a new fan and have started to try and collect a few things. I will remember her name.

In general I also have much better experiences with people from UK, Northern Europe, Germany or USA than with people form South America or Southern Europe. But I don't want to make it a rule. It's maybe just my bad luck. I have many good friends in the latter mentioned countries.
