I like their new single "Are you gonna be my girl?". However, is it me or the song sounds similar to Iggy Pop's "Lust for Life"?

Anyway, does anyone have their CD "Get Born"? Is it good?

I have it. It's AWESOME!

Plus they're Australian..well..Victorian..so that's some marks off 'em.

But Roll Over DJ and Get me Outta Here are awesome..the CD is overall quite good.

"Get Born" is one of the best albums that came out last year! Jet are brilliant, and not everything on the album sounds like "Are You Gonna Be My Girl". They're not like The Strokes, whose songs sound all like a different version of just one song.
And thank God they don't have a "The" in their name!! ;-)
I can highly recommend "Get Born"!

They're playing in Cologne this month. I might go!

My friend works as a promoter for jet, and went to one of their concerts recently with a VIP pass, free food and drink, and the opputunity to meet the band.

I however know nothing about them at all.

i first seen their video a few months ago and loved um...great sound and cool video

They were nobodies last year..then bam! An iceberg crushed them.

To me, they still are nobodies. My fault?
