It seems that Freddie's influence is reaching more than just the Darkness when it comes to singing styles these days. According to Katie Melua she was totally influenced by him as well. Check out this link for more info and a really nice complement about our Freddie as well.

Call Off The Search is a great album, I borrowed from a mate and promptly bought it after that. And she looks lovely as well.

Even though I'm really not a fan of The Darkness, but I do like some of Katie Melua's songs, I think she has a great voice. And it is great to know Queen still have such an influence on the music industry.

Like Katie I am also from Georgia, and I’ll tell you that Queen and especially Freddie Mercury is a household name there. Not at all surprised that she is a fan, but at the same time very happy
