Question: Deleting Forum Messages

I can archive old posts if necessary... the database can't be that big anyway, there are probably not more 50000 posts each year.

I don't mind it either, Richard. Delete ahead :)

we will have to be prepared to answer questions about "where is John??" etc. again....
or maybe you could save those? like a FAQ?

Hi,

Ok, at some point i will refresh the board. However, i will save all the posts so that people can download the Database if they want. I think it currently has about 80,000 records in it.

I will also think of a way to archive posts in the future.

Can't this forum just stay online as an archive and put up a new forum in a different directory?

Just remove the files which add posts/topics, so that no-one can use it anymore...
