Sooo, has anyone ever had them? I'm suffering from them at the moment - not sure why. Ever since last night, they've been bothering me and now that it's been 24 hours, they should be going away, damnit! ;-)
Is there any possible solution or something to make it slightly less painful? It's not constant, but more often than I'd like. I asked my dad and he said 'Run less'...
Riiiight. Except I don't run.

Sorry to hear! I hope the pain goes away very soon! Bone pains are NO fun... Not one bit.

Unless you are the one inflicting them!

i pitty you, those are very painful.......
they are normally caused when you change your walking/running routine.....
whenever i get them, i just work it through and sooner or later your body will adjust to the pain....
good luck

I had those at the beginning of my track season last year. They were some of the most physical pains I've ever had.

Bo Jackson had them once.
Just FYI

Was there anything he didn't know?

Not likely.

Ah thanks for the sympathy, everyone :-)
Thing is, I haven't changed anything in my workout schedule. I usually only walk a half hour or so on the treadmill after everything else. But I also have really high arches, and that can be a cause of it too. Anyway, today they don't seem to be bothering me so hopefully I'm pain free for a while! lol

I must confess that whenever I whup good Sir Archie at tennis - which let's face it, is always - my shins have started playing up a bit. And the old knees are prone to creak now and again, bless 'em.
But all the pain is completely subdued by that glow of satisfaction you only get from realizing that you are indeed a real man, an absolute Zeus of the court, with a sliced serve that God himself would hit air trying to get on t'end of.
It ain't easy being so great, but with a lot of dedication and sound application, maybe one day you'll be as good as Flashy.
