I'm sort of taking a dive into the old (pre-Queen) stuff, and i'm still missing two tracks of Smile. The song titles are Earth and Step on me. Anybody got a clue where I can find them?
I've got 4 other songs of Smile, and they sound quite good, although the sound quality is poor...the Larry Lurex songs are fun too!

Since you're dutch you can buy the Smile cd (Ghost of a Smile) in the stores, in excellent quality, with 2 bonus tracks.

These are pretty easy to find, and even available to buy in a lot of shops. Here in the U.S., Best Buy stores are selling the illegal disc 'Preordained' which contains these, there's also 'In Nuce' and numerous other bootlegs.

i have both In NUce and Ghost Of A Smile, i loved in nuce till i heard clearer versions of mad the swine and the tracks on the ghost of a smile cd which is the best buy at the moment, and it has a great booklet with Tim Staffel interview,articles and Smile discography

Oh, I'd say it's pretty much illegal to sell CDs under the 'Queen' name which aren't authorized. If that's not illegal, I guess I'm in the wrong business :-P

They ARE illegal Niek. Ghost of a Smile is the only official release of the Smile tracks on cd so far. Though undoubtely we'll see them in the first boxset (if it ever gets released ;))
