Richard O'Brien came from my town apparently and now they're putting up a 12-foot high statue on the main street of Riff Raff. Only all the naysayers are whinging about how it's immoral to have a statue of a transvestite for all to see.

Someone, somewhere along the line got their facts wrong, because the artists impression of the statue really does have him in fishnets. Now I just have to see RHS so I can whinge too along with the RHS purists.

What? I'm confused. Riffraff Did wear fishnets -- At the end, when he was in his space suit!

Ahh, thanks very much Queenleaf - yes, the statue indeed does have him in a spacesuit. The only thing I've ever seen of him is Timewarp.

*recalls having gone to Rocky Horror 175 times, and playing Frank 'n' Furter at the movie* Oh wait maybe I shouldn't say that, people might think I'm a freak or something. :)

Anyway Frank always reminded me of Freddie in his late-'70s leather phase...they both looked so cool and confident :) They also both had the leather cap and sideburns.

I agree - in fact I started a topic several months ago that was tilted "Frank looks like Freddie" or else the other way around but no one seemed to agree with me then! Anyway I think I'm destined to play Magenta - I have the hair, just need to dye it red which I want to do anyway. I know some one who evidently has played Frank and he is the coolest person in the world! I don't think you're a freak!
