A day before Freddie's death, the fans been told about his illness. Did Freddie spoke to the fans himself??

I'm sorry..I don't mean to seem like a prick but is it possible that Freddie actually wrote/dictated that the day before? Surely he'd've had a PR person there..or even John..yeah, I'd get John to scribe it up.

Indeed, It's sad... but he did a good job to encourage the people to fight against this horrible disease.

Ah, ok. Fair enough. I wouldn't have thought that Freddie was in a condition to comprehend something like that..or a pikelet, none the less!

Hutton says Freddie and Jim Beach prepared it during a meeting the morning of Friday, 22 November for release at Midnight Saturday. He was apparently still alert and fully aware, although Jim Hutton seems to think he was coerced into it.

It almost seems as if he was waiting for that, and then he began to let go the next day. At 8 pm Saturday he is reported to have said "Soon the world will know"

The statement was apparently read by Roxy Meade, Freddie's PR. And since there's no audio recording of that, I assume it maybe wasn't read, it was probably given to press in written form.
