It's not really looking good for me being there either, I'm afraid. I will be going on two trips this summer and I don't think my parents would allow another.

I will either be in Italy digging up roman trash, in scotland studying folk music or in Japan studying the language this summer (whatever I get accepted to...) and they all go on during the same time as the convention, so therefore I think I will not be able to attend.

although overseas study may only be a 'temporary' grounding
