I just bought the String Quartet Tribute to Dark Side of the Moon, performed by The Section. (I love that name!) It's really good. I want to play Pink Floyd Queen and the Beatles in chamber music when I grow up, I also compose and arrange, so it's kind of up my road. Anyway if anyone else is thinking about buying the album, it is good! The only thing I can say about it is that the quartet's emotion never seemed to be as passionate as Pink Floyd. They played a lot better than me technically but I think I could surpass them in feeling, myself. But I really enjoy it, the arranger did a great job!

I love Dark Side Of The Moon. Surely it is one of my favorite albums of all time. Does it have those nice backing vocals like in The Great Gig In The Sky, and Eclipse?

not with voices I mean there aren't any singers on it they said all the sounds were made by with the instruments or the players feet (but I'm SURE I heard a door slam in there!)

Has anyone else noticed the similarity between Pink Floyd's "Brain Damage/Eclipse" video and Queen's "Under Pressure" video?
The Pink Floyd one is usually available for download on Kazaa, WinMX, etc. I wonder if the same person directed them both or something.
