Actually try the above link - it is fast and free and simple to use (although I only tried it briefly)

I hate typing

This will help me to catalog my collection on my hard drive.

I suppose I should have explained myself.

The Jdirprint program allows one to copy your file lists from each folder on your computer and paste this info elsewhere ... without retyping the list.

Seems Bill Gates should have incorporated this 10 years ago in Win95 ...

You can do this with DOS.. or 'Prompt' in XP. Granted, I have no idea what the command is. :-P

I do it on a folder by folder basis with my image browser, which also shows all files if you want.. ACDSee. Has the 'Generate File Listing' built in.

But anyway, I'm sure your link is better.. thanks for sharing :)

Here's another similar program that I found a while back. I never tried it though.

Not sure what is better or best ... but I have away to do that now - Although I don't ever want to see DOS again. We still use an old DOS program at work (it would cost $10,000 to update on an aging machine).
