ok this is my top five:
1. The Beatles
2. Queen
3.Guns N' Roses
4.Bon Jovi
5. Aerosmith
of course i love more beatles solo stuff than guns n' roses. and those five bands are connected in some ways. let me explain... first we all know how much queen loves the beatles and they are their heroes, second queen and guns n' roses (well slash and axl) performed at freddie tribute concert and if there was no queen there wouldn't be guns n' roses, brian played with them on thei tour and did some guitar work on their "who knows when it will come out" album chinese democracy. guns and aerosmith toured together and they cover their song mama kin, aerosmith covered come together and guns and aerosmith toured together and queen were friends with aerosmith(one time before the concert brian and joe perry got drunk). ok i don't know how to conected bon jovi with any of these bands

QueeN, of course, to me they are the best. And then I like The Rolling Stones, Creedence Clearwater Revival, The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin (wow! I almost forgot them and they are so good!), Deep Purple and almost great every rock band, not forgetting Bon Jovi and Aerosmith. If I'll go on with my fave bands, you'll need some hours to read the list, so that's all for now.

Apart from Queen (of course) I'm a huge Def Leppard fan, I also like Metallica, G'n'R, Van Halen, basically anything that rocks!!!

manic street preachers and queen are my two favourites. some say this is an odd combination. to them i say "bah."
also: placebo, kinesis, the cure, miss black america, tori amos, t-rex, the beatles, david bowie, simon and garfunkel, the buzzcocks, the undertones, marilyn manson and nirvana.
I see, all of you seem to prefer the old commercial stuff. )-: Why don't you listen to some less popular bands? Many Queenfans say that there is no good music these days but there really is!!! Bands like Pain Of Salvation or Dream Theater often play in way that is comparable to Queen. This music is emotional, energetic, technically incredible and...pretty new! I discovered prog rock a few years ago and it was really great to realize that there are many people out there composing great anthems and epics.
This had to be said!!!!!!!!!
