Rein's MP3 of Live - Aid got me wondering....
does everyone here agree with the songs Queen chose to perform? If not what would you have had?

Remember the time limit at Live- aid.

Yes, I think they chose quite well. They were too long, too short and chose what they should have at the time. Kept people interested and happy...they certainly weren't going to beat out 'The Prophets Song'...all in all, good show.
...this kettle is boiling over... ...one dump...one turd...two tits...John Deacon... ...one prawn...one shrimp...one clam...one chicken!

loved it and from the concert standpoint Freddie's performance and Queen's as a whole that stood out for me...as i was a youngin back in 85 watching that...

being only 1yrs old at the time looking back it seemed like they chose the right songs...and from footage i've seen of the concert they were probably the best there..but i dont know...roll on live aid dvd ;D
"another tricky situation, i get to drowning in the blues, and i find myself thinking..well...what would you do?"

Break Free instead of Hammer To Fall, but it's a minor point.

At the time (non-Queen fan that I was at the time), I was disappointed that I Was Born To Love You was not included. Poor naive fool...
