Thank God Comedy Central doesn't show anymore SNL re-runs. That show has gone from bad to worse in the past 10 years. And they didn't show a lot of episodes from the old days when SNL was funny.

MADtv is way much better, although some of the funniest cast members have left in the last 3 years.

More good news for fans of sketch comedy. The first season of 'In Living Color' will be released on a DVD box set. So for those who can't get enough of Jim Carrey playing Fire Marshall Bill, here's a treat.

Two of my fave skits from the first "Chappelle's Show" are the two featuring Tyrone Biggums, the crack addict. Especially when his friends have an intervention and show him working at the post office. He opens an envelope looking for cash, a check, whatever and the envelope says "Sen. Tom Daschle" and it has anthrax powder in it. Tyrone thinks it is cocaine and he begins sniffing it and rubbing it in his gums. The post office supervisor comes in and tells the employees to look out for any envelopes that have the name "Tom Daschle" on them because they contain anthrax. Tyrone looks around and asks, "Is anthrax bad?"!

I also love the skit where Dave goes to a sick boy's hospital room to cheer him up and ends up playing against him in a Playstation basketball game and he "whups his ass"! "In your face, in your face"!

Those Chappelle clips were hilarious.

Too bad I don't get that show round here (or anything decent :-P)

Dave Chapelle is quite annoying in my personal opinion. So is his show. My mom and brothers all watch it and laugh like crazy, But I just think he's just a jack-ass. He 'plays the race card' too much if you know what I mean. I can only hear racially oriented jokes so much... And they're never funny to begin with. And that goes for ANY race.

About all comedians make fun of their ethnic & racial backgrounds, and it's not only black comedians. Take for instance John Leguizamo, Margaret Cho, and Conan O' Brien.

As I said, It goes for ANY race. I just don't find it funny.

OMG did you guys see the latest episode where they have those puppets talking to the kids about drugs and venereal diseases?

I was laughing so hard that my stomach was in pain.
