I really hate these live action films. It takes the life out of the cartoons! That's why I posted this. I grew up loving Garfield, and I found this out. It just plain sucks! Look what happened with 'The Cat in the Hat'!

yeah, Scooby was bad in cartoons in movies it's horrible! :)

I really liked Scooby Doo when I was a kid, and it was good until Scrappy Doo came on. Oh he was annoying!

I agree, the live action films were BAD.

I love Garfield. The CG one looks cool! OOH! Bill Murray is doing Garfield's voice!!! That is the PERFECT voice for him! :D But... Where's Odie? :'(

I love Garfield, I have a big collection of almost all the books. The show was fun, and I'm sure Bill Murray will put a lot of soul into the voice of Garfield just like Lorenzo Music did when he voiced Garfield on the 80s TV series. However the animation looks kinda crappy, they should have done an animated Garfield movie and not a live action flick with a CG Garfield.

Hope they don't do the same thing for 'The Simpsons' movie and they will stick for traditional animation.

There's also rumors going around about a 'Family Guy' movie, but Seth McFarlane said that for now the production team is concentrating mainly on the new episodes to be aired on TV in 2005. Although I think he mentioned that if there's a movie, the plot might be having Stewie realizing that he's gay. Sounds like fun.

About Scooby Doo it's probably the worst cartoon show ever created. It totally seems a mystery to me why the show has been so successful after having the exact same plot on every single episode.

The flintstones movie was okay...but then again I saw it when I was like...what? 5?
