the best thing about good music is that it gives of good vibes for free thinkers.. the worse thing is when one of the many free thinkers starts publicising to the world that this song is about one certain thing.

As a fan I believe in all of your thoughts about Queen music yeah that suits very well the we are the champions vibe it CAN be so so so true in many ways and that certainly is one, and Freddie would be proud if you saw it like that million might even already think so... but doesnt make the billions of others wrong in their image of such a positive vibe.
too much sweetness is starting to turn on all of us Jab and Tranquilize the sour vibe. so the taste of the bitter pills be our discipline once again (Shaggy)

Take it from a gay man:

it's definately "It's A Hard Life"
Freddie: "Yes, we'll have a great big cock fly over the crowd!" Roadies: "Yeah! Great Idea!" Freddie: "And it will fly into a great big mouth with a moustache!"

You know what I think? Most of the songs you´ve quoted arent primarily gay or bisexual, they´re just "sexual" . It´s just that people know that freddie was gay and therefore start rethinking the lyrics..
Which does´nt mean that some songs don´t make you think- dreamers ball, millionaire waltz...
I like the diskussion though, very much indeed! Seems everbody is having fun on the topic!

"I Want To Break Free" sounds gay-ish! Not the lyrics and it doesn't have anything to do with the video either. It's just the beat that sounds gay-ish to me!

In "I Was Born To Love You" he sings "You are the ONE for me, I am the MAN for you" and he doesn't refer to either man or woman and that's why I always thought it's dedicated to a man. Pointless maybe... but just what I thought.
Where as in other songs he did sing about women e.g. Mother love "...that my woman gives me sweet mother love" and in "7 days" he sings about a girl, but that one was written by John anyway.

And I love "Tear It Up", I think it's one of the sexiest Queen songs ever!

There's so much that I could not number them...

Some Day One Gay
Bring Back That Leroy Gay
I'm In love With My Gay
In Only Seven Gays
I Want To A Gay Free(0$)

...and the lists continues :-)
And as the seasons turn the days to years She holds her pictures, hears the silent cheers The days grow lonely for the dancing Queen And now she dances only in her dreams...

Well, that makes sense, but I don't think John would intentionally write a song that sounds like it belongs IN a gay bar.

Who actually came up with the music for that one?

'One Vision'

Although not conventionally a homosexual song. How could you ignore this line?

'One man, one man,
One bar,one night, one day, hey hey
Just gimme gimme ...
