I think that most things (to a certain point) in a young child's life should be the SOLE responsibility of that child's parents. When we have children, WE are supposed to decide how to best raise them, NOT SOMEONE ELSE. It's just that simple. For a book to be banned just because a couple of parents find it offensive is wrong. What about the parents that want to teach their children that not EVERYONE is EXACTLY the same? Do they not get a say? Of course not! That would be too ethical! Now... I'm fuming... I'll stop. LOL!
