Has this happened to any of you or could somebody give me an answer?
I bought a compact music player (tapes, cd, radio records) for my husband's birthday. We put it in "computer room". The radio, records and tape player work fine. The cd player was not working. The place where I bought it from (internet) told me to take it to the closest repair place, which we did. We explained the problem and left the cd player there. They call us and tell us that nothing's wrong and it was working fine. We went to pick it up and it was really working. We brought it back home. The same thing happened, the cd did not work. We brought it back to the repair place. The people there must think we were crazy because cd player was working fine. We brought it home, it did not work. We had an idea to put the player in another room (upstairs) and it works fine.
To make the long story short, why a cd player would work in a room of the house and not in another?. We tried everything, turning off the computer, disconecting the computer and phone. Nothing happens. One answer I got is that we're close to a radio station antena and that may be making interference. I don't know.
Any other idea will be appreciated.
