apparently according to Queenonline.com, love of my life was released as a single in south africa and went to number one.

Then stayed there for 12 MONTHS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I assume that it stayed in the charts for 12 months.

By the way, is it true that Queen once had 10 albums or was it singles in the top 10 in some South American country?

I'm from Brazil. All south America really loves Queen. Guess 'Love of my Life' was the most known queen song in the 80's (Radio Ga Ga too). Was the first song I heard from Queen. Sometimes they still play that on proms, marriages and things like that.
The famoust version is from Live Killers, with the cool intro by Brian.

Well the Beatles held the Top 5 in the UK.. I think..unless I'm making things up..which I might be.
