Impressionists

I'm a big fan of impressions and can do a few myself, but i'm curious whats the technical aspect behind it? For instance the guy from the miracle replicates freddies voice perfectly so the voice box must be changing to shape of the person being impersonated.

Ah damn! For a moment there I thought this topic was about the 19th century Impressionist movement. Ah well discussing some culture here on QZ seems a little unrealistic.

Ah well, we will never know if Monet, Degas, Morisot, Pissaro or Renoir would've been excellent Freddie impersonators.

I can do a dead on Sly Stallone so I'm told. It always gets the big laughs. By the way, Fallen Angel, I can also do Meatwad. :D

My sister can do a ton of impressions...she does some really good ones of Sir Ian McKellan and Tom Cruise. :^D

I suppose you wouldn't even have to fart a special way to sound like Mick Jagger..any ol' garden variety will do ;-)

I can do some impressions. Unfortunately, they sound nothing like the person they're meant to be.

Everybody in the whole civilised world, after a few drinks, can do Sean Connery and Jimmy Saville. I pride myself on my Victor Meldrew though.
