Probably recorded in 1988. IMO one of the better demos that we've all recently found.

Really? I'm aware of only one such case, when somebody took a demo (Silver Salmon) and intentionally created a distortion on it.

He meant that some collectors only share the 'not so good' stuff

the so called Elite traders.



Or first mention a lot of the stuff they have, and then say 'sorry i can't trade this'

Rien's version is the same 96 kbps version re-encoded to 256.

I'd share any of that rare stuff if I had it. I'd be an enemy of the band methinks. ;)

I really can't imagine somebody trying to re-encode a file just to keep a better copy and spread the worse one.

Well, what's wrong about a $150 single, if collectors think it's worth it, then maybe it really is. On the other hand, the content of the single (song) has usually zero value so maybe he could have sent it to you. But maybe he didn't have enough time etc.... who knows. Don't judge people if you don't know them.
