I agree with YV and Zeni. A new FAQ is desperately needed. It should also be updated on a regular basis to keep up with Brian, Roger, and *snicker* John. Your site is definately my fave Queen site though, Rich.

how about, as you can just barely phathom? Being nice to new people and forgeting the sarcasm for once, i mean that's all i ask for. I have been welcomed very nicely but i have noticed that some are not! We all love queen, Right? Instead of berating some people for there "simple questions" why not educate them about this fantastic band!! i don't post that often but i always read and have for a couple of years. We don't need to isolate people who like or love queen, we need to be friends and share the experience and love that we have for queen! take care all. cork!

Bring on the F.A.Q. And remember- sarcasm is usually aimed not at ones that don't know 'simple' things, but at the ones that show some lack of any intelligence... You may ask an obvious question- probably that's fine- and you can ask a stupid one....

I am afraid you cannot ask Richard to take care of the posts aimed at newbies, that's the responsibility of the board members. When new people come to the board and introduce themselves with a polite message like "Hi, I am new here" etc, the are *always* welcomed in a very friendly manner. Queenzoners are not that bad. However, when your first post is offensive for many people, when you don't ask about he music but about rumours in connection with Freddie's illness and death, some "oldies" may find that intrusive and won't respond very nicely.
Just compare the first posts of "newbies" Nickipee (funny), Daragon (polite) and paris (wrong start in my opinion) and you'll see that newbies are not bullied here by habit.

And I was not addressing you, Apoptosis :-) It was more a general reply to the previous posts.

I have plenty of printed interviews I've collected. I'd be more than willing to send them to Richard to place on QZ if he wanted.

"Go to Tools/Internet Options/click on the "General" tab/Look for the temporary internet files section and click the "delete cookies" button"
I did all that , but instead of a "delete cookies" button, it says "delete files" i clicked on it, but it still doesn't open the forum page :?
