Like what I mean by the 'sarcasm' comment is that some people feel offended when a person who has been here for quite some time is mean to a newbie.
I think it's really funny though! Am I even still considered a newbie at almost 200 posts?

> This reminds me of a certain "two" versions of Somebody To Love from the Tribute concert - one complete with Brian's mistake during the solo and the other without.
I always wondered whether it was overdubbed or not, but now you've put my suspicion to rest! TA! It is a shame though, as the patched up solo is fookin amazing. Shame Brian couldn't actually play it....

"Now, I feel really dumb but let me just get this straight-- The Jazz Tour is the same as the Live Killers tour which is the same as the Crazy Tour but just in different places, right? :-X"
Right!
US Jazz tour - October to December '78
European Jazz tour (when Live Killers was recorded) - January to March '79
Japanese Jazz tour - April to May '79
Crazy tour - November to December '79
But if you really want to get technical, only the first three legs were in support of the Jazz album. They later decided to go back to playing the clubs in late 79, so maybe that wouldn't be considered a tour to support the Jazz album. By that time, they were already premiering songs from The Game.

Well, considering what that day was about, I'm amazed Brian didn't mess up worse. I've heard the mistake and it's no biggee. Brian always had trouble with that lick, though.
Peace,
Adam.

Thanks, Guitar Hero! I would love to see a few concerts from the era because even a few clips that we've seen on the Magic Years videos show Freddie with so much energy and enthusiasm. And of course... his cool little black hat. :)
The Concert for the People of Kampuchea... this was a charity concert, right? So Queen were involved in this charity concert type thing before Live Aid but nobody ever mentions it. I wonder why...

Because it was still a low-key gig... the Hammersmith only holds a few thousand people.

we better get used to editing and tweaking because live aid will be no differant. unless they stick it on about 5 discs coz how long did it go on for? 16 hours or something. they should put all of Queen on it coz they were easily the best act bar none. they might knock off 'is this the world we created?' though
