... so QOL says - so I was curious what was the No.1 in 00.
Turns out that...
"29th July 2000 saw Queen hit the No1 spot in the UK Singles chart with the track We Will Rock You with 5ive. The first time two groups had jointly topped the chart." (QOL)
Interesting... Maybe I should try listening to Queen 5ive WWRY...? I have put it off thinking that it'd be a waste of time (being a very lazy person).
Sounds like pretty much everyone in QZ has listened to it... (and didn't like)
I must say, though, that I was quite proud to see it, albeit on a Queen official website.

I liked it. It's not a brilliant version, but way better than the Pepsi Ad-version.

Hey Pim I like your site, looks very neat!

Hasn't Elton John had a recently remixed song go to Number One? That would certainly make him a 4 decade winner, too.

Correct. Similar sort of venture with the Queen/Five thing, though Elton re-recorded Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word with boyband Blue.

Elton's last UK #1 was in 2003 with a remix of his 1977 flop single "Are You Ready For Love"
He hasn't had a UK #1 in the 80's, only 70's, 90,s and 00's
but his 1990 #1 single "Sacrifice", was infact from his 1989 album "Sleeping With The Past"

Cliff's had No1s in the 50s,60s,70s,80s and 90s, and i'd bet he 'aint finished yet.

Sorry to say this, but year 2000 is included in the 90's, not in the 00's.

Just like 1980 was included in the '70s?

No. Nothing like it. You've always got to ruin it.
Not really *sets self on fire*

The only way to solve this issue is to find out if there was a year "zero".

What makes you say that?
*EDIT*
Nevermind, I got your point. Although I disagree...
