I'm sure those British posters of my generation (and there must be a few of you around here surely) will have been as sad as I was this morning to read of the death of late-1980s "Blue Peter" presenter Caron Keating. She was only 40, poor woman, and died of breast cancer. It's very sad, I can remember her being my favourite of the show's presenters at the time, and one report that particularly sticks in the memory is the one she did on swimming with sharks.

Very sad news, anyhow.

Absolute shocker. Makes one realise how shitty life can be.

I wish to echo that sentiment. She was one of my fave TV presenters, genuinely nice and always smiling.

Life is such a bitch - so young. And all the more shocking because it was kept so private, which was of course, absolutely her right.

Oddly enough I saw Blue Peter today and it ain't what it used to be ... *sigh*

RIP
Yes, it's me. I'm back. I haven't lost my mind, it's backed up on a disk somewhere
