I recently saw a Queen CD titled 'In Nuce' whilst perusing the 'Q' section of my local record store (as you do), and I wondered whether it is worth purchasing.
Clearly it's not an official release, and I was wondering if anyone has it/knows what it is like?
Thanks.
Ah yeah...
Queen 'In Nuce' is definatetly worth buying if you are interested in the Pre Queen era (Smile and Larry Lurex). Mind you, the sound isn't perfect, but its definatetly better than the old tapes that I have of Smile.

Also, be aware of Queen: Pre Ordained. Definatetly DO NOT buy it.

Only buy it if you want to have it all, for better quality versions for the smile songs you can look out for their CD 'Ghost of a smile'
And for the Larry Lurex track, you can get those in excellent quality (And in the right pitch!) on Freddies Solo Collection!
"On the first day Pim & Niek created a heavenly occupation. Pim & Niek blessed it and named it 'Loosch'." (Genesis 1:1)
I actually prefer the Nuce version of the Lurex tracks. The cleaned up versions on the FM box are a bit lifeless in comparison.
