I've recently gotten a lot of upgrades of Queen shows on DVD, but I don't have a DVD burner. Can anyone recommend some quality software to rip DVD to VCD and/or SVCD? I'd like to be able to trade these shows, and I'm quite sure that some traders will be interested in them.

What are your trade rules?
And what do you mean "trade": swap or/and sell

I can recommend http://rip.corusa.com
An excellent guide for an excellent (freeware) software.
The guide describes how to rip into divx/xvid, but the software can also be used to rip into vcd/svcd.
One of the really good things with this soft is that you don't have to rip the entire DVD to your harddrive first. Great news for us with limited space.

Alright folks, I've got my videos encoded to SVCD. Check out my site (link is in my sig), and you'll find the new ones. Any trade proposals are welcome.
I must thank Kevo for being the original supplier for many of these new videos. He gets all the credit for these.

Thanks Bob.
What software did you use in the end to convert to SVCD?

I tried many pieces of software, but the one I'm sticking to is ImTOO DVD Ripper. It makes perfect (or near perfect) copies to SVCD, and it's really quite easy to use.
