Bulwinkle- Yes this person basically just changed their first four letters but it was to end gender confusion.
(to that person if she reads this, I'm not trying to be mean, just I think they should know your past. :| sorry)

I recently became "New and Improved," but have long had the same nick. I did have a different nick on QueenRocker years ago, but I can't remember it.

lol...I thought the question was asking whether or not everyone has changed their nicks since the re-vamp of QZ (the recent revamp, not the one a few years ago).

So yeah, I have changed my nick before, but not since this recent re-vamp.
