It seems to say, "There's no-one quite like Flashman " on a continuous loop.
No wait, that's me isn't it?
"There's no-one quite like Flashman"
There it is again.

Coincidence. I was just listening to the song when I read this topic. I've listened oit backwards and it sounded really a bit like it when you also read the lyrics.
Anyway, it still is a kickass song!

Very nice. I do believe that many bands experimented with this type of thing on purpose out of amusement or whatever. I don't think that backward lyrics influence forward thought though.
I just discovered this one from Under Pressure recently:

Jesus christ! I've never heard all that before! I've only ever heard "Heres to my sweet satan", but never the rest! Amazing! Also if you listen at the end backwards (the start of it backwards :-) you can hear Planty say "Ohh, backwards" being "hea-ven".
Whats it supposidly say on Under Pressure?

It's not really the same if you're told what to hear. That's one of the big theories surrounding backwards messages. The idea that you can come up with something close enough to real speech and tell people that's what it says, and only then do they hear it.
So let's try it here.. Mr. Jones, you obviously didn't hear anything clearly on your first listen. Now listen again after I tell you what it says:
"Little boys below sniffin' on us"
I have no idea what this might mean, but it's interesting that it says 'us' during a part of the song when Freddie & David are singing together.
"Sat on a fence but it don't work" actually it makes no sense forwards either. :-P

I'm sure that by listening carefully to "Lords Prayer" read backwards, with some suggestion what are you gonna hear- you would as well hear some creepy stuff...

What did you mean "my very last post", Gerli? *afraid you're leaving us alone.*

Hmmm...
I think unless your told about things, or you have a very good ear and vivid imagination, its virtually impossible to work anything out that makes sense.
"Heres to my sweet satan" is easy, as is the "Its fun to smoke marujuana" line.
Still not sure about that one though!
Ofcourse, there are people who do it intentnally!
My fav goes like this -
- "I can't think of anything to say"
- "Well thats it, just go up to the mic and say theres fuck all inside yer 'ead!"
- "Theres FOOK all inside my FOOKin' head!"
