I watch the auditions of AI, and then I stop watching it.
Lets get real, whoever gets voted out, and whoever wins. They all had the exposure, and record companies will be knocking at their doors.

Those American Idol contestants have strange names... as I remember it, 'Fantasia' was some Disney film...
Anyway. I do try my hardest to avoid Pop Idol (the British equivilent) like the plague.
Well, the first few shows are OK, where they show all the godawful ones, but people now try far too hard just for their 15 minutes. I mean, what kind of self-respecting man would dress in a banana castume, singing "I've got you under my skin" in front of millions of viewers?
And the finalists are even worse!
Oh, and btw, America... you're more than welcome to Simon Cowell...

I think AI is a pathetic way to get to the top. Cheating, almost. At least Britney Spears started out in the Mickey Mouse Club (NO I'm not supporting her). It just makes me cringe to see these people get their 15 minutes.
You take a band like Queen who started from scratch... then again, they've been around forever. These people? Here today... gone tomorrow.
