and today one of my ex-colleagues phoned to ask me something about one of "their" customers. Admittedly, I'm slightly surprised it took them this long!
They probably don't realise I've actually left, and just think I'm off ill instead.

At my work we often get calls from people who left up to 4 years ago! Since I've only been working there for a year it confuses the hell out of me.
People are just stupid.
