I've been curious since I noticed his Choose Life shirt he wore in the HTF vid and Rock in Rio (?) but did it refer to pro life opinions? Has he ever spoken about or positively confirmed this?

I doubt it has anything to do with that. Roger doesn't strike me as someone who is against abortion for some reason.

It was an anti-nuclear weapon slogan popular on Catherine Hamnet t-shirts in the mid eighties. Most folks in them days wore a white t-shirt with some slogan or other on it.

Actually, I've heard from several sources that it has something to do with heroin.
This picture that we're talking about was taken before the militant anti-abortion crowd stole the slogan.
Didn't he also wear a 'Ban nukes now!' Catherine Hammet T-shirt on one occasion?

G&G, I know I've seen George Michael wear the same shirt and I also seem to remember Boy George and maybe a guy from Frankie Goes To Hollywood wearing it.
