I've been curious since I noticed his Choose Life shirt he wore in the HTF vid and Rock in Rio (?) but did it refer to pro life opinions? Has he ever spoken about or positively confirmed this?

I don't think it had anything to do with the abortion. Maybe a reivindicative shirt about drugs or being free...

I doubt it has anything to do with that. Roger doesn't strike me as someone who is against abortion for some reason.

He isn't anti anything, he's Uncle Roger, bless him.

It was an anti-nuclear weapon slogan popular on Catherine Hamnet t-shirts in the mid eighties. Most folks in them days wore a white t-shirt with some slogan or other on it.

I would just like to take this opportunity to profusely apologise for my above joke.

Actually, I've heard from several sources that it has something to do with heroin.

This picture that we're talking about was taken before the militant anti-abortion crowd stole the slogan.

Didn't he also wear a 'Ban nukes now!' Catherine Hammet T-shirt on one occasion?

Fatty is right, and yes I think he also wore a no nukes shirt sometimes.

What were some other slogans on the shirts like the "Choose Life" one?

Nike, Izod, Guess?, and "Chicken Feed, Babe."

G&G, I know I've seen George Michael wear the same shirt and I also seem to remember Boy George and maybe a guy from Frankie Goes To Hollywood wearing it.
