I've downloaded two songs by them ("I Don't Like Mondays" and "Rat Trap") and I have to say that they were pretty good. What's your opinion of them and what are some other bands that you like that just disappeared?

I quite liked them - despite the crap voice.

Heeey I like Bob Geldof! Although his singing voice kind of sounds like him when he's talking... haha

I love the song I Don't Like Mondays! :D The first time I heard it I felt like I heard it as a kid. It's a great song, I even taped the video from Vh1 classic :$ hehe
I've only heard a few other songs, titles escpaing me at the moment, but they are pretty good. I give them... 2.5 to 3 stars outta 5.

I Don't Like Mondays is SO infectious, haha... how does the video go?

It's the one with the white void and the classroom and so on that they did for TOTP isn't it? Or did they do another one for more general release?
Anyway, tis a great song. I enjoyed Harvey Goldsmith on the Bob Geldof documentary the other day though saying that not only would he not have booked the Rats for Live Aid, he actually begged Geldof not to play. :-)

The video I've got has the white void as you call it and the classroom and shows Geldof in sunglasses at one point. A few seconds have the kids lip syncing the song.
I agree that they shouldn't have played Live Aid though, they did pretty bad.

What a great band-check out their best of. There were so many underrated tracks by the band-I'd recommend them to anyone!

Do you think it's better ordering their Best Of off of amazon.com or going to Best Buy to find it? I can't picture it being in Best Buy for some reason... I mean, I couldn't even find Brian May CDs.
