Having recently bought a PS2, i've noticed its quite loud, is that fan supposed to be that noisy?? Or should i ask for a refund ? :-o)

The fans are quiet noisy, mines just started to make a heavy rattling sound :( ive had it for over 2 years now so nothing can be done about it. I heard they were bringing ones out now with quieter fans

BEWARE THE DREADED "DISC READ ERROR" MESSAGE!
I could write my own version of the "Prophet's Song" about the damned "Disc Read Error" message that I have had off and on for a year.
If your fan sounds loud, try checking someone else's PS2, if possible, to see if it sounds abnormal. Otherwise, be thankful that your PS2 PLAYS and READS discs!

My brother has a PS2 and his fan is quiet. But, His friend's also both have one and their fans are both loud. So, I guess some people are lucky and some aren't. ;D
