This is part 2 of 2 pieces of info i found in 2 differant papers on two consecutive days.
This one is entitled 'Are these the greatest gigs acts ever?'
It is the top 50 greatest gigs ever voted for by Q magazine readers and writers. Queen were in it twice (Only Queen and radio head are in it more than once).
Queen came in at 36 with their Knebworth concert on August 9th 1986 and then at number 9 with their Live Aid stint. The top 10 were...

I find it hard to believe that ANY Nirvana show was ever even close to as good as Queen's Live Aid set. ;)

yea. Nirvana are by far the most overated group EVER in the U.k.

Radiohead seem to have been overinflated by the press since the release of Hail to the Theif... I can't remember them being too big in the 90's with OK Computer...

I read that list in the paper too today, and Knebworth 86 was also in there! Can't remember where!

I don't see Dark Angel's performance at the North Star Pub 29/7/81 in the list - what a crap list! Okay, so the band I was in only did one song (in the interval of the house band) but we were shit hot that night!!!

Nirvana are so goddamn overrated and annoy the HELL out of me. What was so great about them anyway? I don't mean to be cynical but enough with the Kurt Cobain love this year. Yes, I know, it's 10 years since he died and we should all mourn but he died rather selfishly by killing himself. I don't know... I'm just plain sick of seeing Nirvana at the top of all these countdown lists and such. >:[
