Queenonline has the "Short version" CD single for sale. I'm assuming it's an edit of a longer version that will appear as a CD-S. They might do an instrumental version too (just like the Annie Crummer AOBTD release.

I just bought a copy off of eBay, a 1-track CD-Single I'm afraid (I've asked the seller, and he said there was only one version on the CD). Still waiting for the PayPal transfer to be cleared before the seller will send the CD

Also, it's copy protected, so there's little chance of uploads

Mmm! I just realized that the Spanish cast album is not copy-protected, so it should be able to be copied from, as it also has the long and short versions of the tracks.........Wish I'd known that before I bought the CD-Single >:P

it's easy to work around copy protection anyway

If I walked arround 100 meters from my home, I'd be able to buy it. But I'm really lazy and I don't like the fact they've translated the song. I hate the fact the spanish cast has half song listing in spanish... do you imagine Queen songs in another language? Here we have them in spanish! It sucks! The London (and original) musical version is million times better.

Anyway, is a song played by Brian and Roger, so it would be nice to take a look.

You missed what I said. I said I bought the CD Single, not the actual cast album.

I'm really sorry. If I did buy it, which I WISH I did, I would upload otherwise.

Right now, though, I need Windows XP software that I can use to crack the CD copy protection so I can rip from these CD's. Anyone know where I can get such software? I'm not sure what to use as a search query on Google

Or if possible, a firmware update for my Sony DRU530A DVD burner to make it so I can bypass the C.P. technology

If worse comes to worse, you could record it real-time from a player into your inputs. If that doesn't work, sing it for us.

I have no experience with copy protected CDs myself. I haven't run into one yet, and if I did, I'd return it.
