You see Friends at 9 PM on Fridays? That's so weird, I thought it's 8 PM on Thursdays everywhere!

ok, I watched the last episode. It's the first one I've watched in months- the last one I saw was the one where Rachel had the baby. Rachel no longer has the baby. what happened to the baby? did it die or something? *is confused*
someone please help me here

Thursday has never traditonally been a particularly 'big' TV night here in the UK. Channel 4 carved out a niche for US sitcoms from 9pm on Friday nights some years back, and they seem to have found a fairly comfortable home there.

Friends is ok, i wouldn't miss it though...
Although... Matthew Perry... ;-) very nice!!
but what i am really going to miss is Sex & the City!
Some things should never end...

Don't worry, in my experience you just sit and wait fifteen years and everything will be just fine. :)

Never found that show funny....I still don't know how the hell it stayed on for ten years....it was just bland...the only funny thing about it was that they lived in New York City and not once did you see a black person..until the show was forced to show one..but..at least it leaves room for maybe "The Office"...hope they don't screw this one up....

Sonja-- I really miss Sex and the City too... THAT show had a fabulous ending.
FairyQueen-- well, they screwed up "Coupling" but the BBC version is great. And "The Office", I tried watching that and I just didn't find it funny... maybe it was the episode I was watching but I wonder how the American version will come out!

The carachters were always too untypical of twenty-somethings and the gags too slickly predictable for 'friends' to be any better than average at best.
I hear the US version of 'the Office' is getting panned too.

AAAAAAAAHHHHH!! Don't mention "Friends" to me right now!
The other choice message board of mine is having World War III over it. *scream*
