I need your help - if you don't mind

In this song theres all that weird guitar stuff Brain's so good at, could someone in the know please tell me the notes/chord whatever he's playing (I'm trying to emulate it on Keyboards)

Thanks a bunch!!!!

I'm teaching myself how to play the piano, and, by doing so, am also converting the notes to guitar. Son & Daughter, interestingly enough, was the first song I figured out on guitar and converted to piano.

Anyway, the notes for the basic riff are:
A C ADCA AAE DCA DACA.
That's the best I can do just playing single noted by ear.

By the way, those aren't chords, they're put together to simulate the timing of the notes.

And unfortunately you're playing in the wrong key there, RMF.

It's in E, rather than A, so just translate the riff you've got worked out down to the E string (you seem to be playing it on the A) and you've pretty much got it.

And Eoin - the best thing really is to find a tab for Son And Daughter on the net. One of the best sites for Queen tabs, if not the best, is http://queen.musichall.cz/index_en.php.

Son And Daughter....

...who can believe that people thought that they were a Led Zepplin B-side when you hear a song like that?

Thanks for the help - just onw more question:

RainMustFall: "By the way, those aren't chords, they're put together to simulate the timing of the notes"

Um - sorry but what did you mean?

Since I can't write out the half notes and what not, a space tells you to hold the note longer and putting them together means holding notes shorter.
