Perhaps this is what you might want to do (which I have done):
Get sample files (snippets of songs) from various sites/fileshare programs. Look at the catalogue. Get used to them. Then go out and buy the boxset.
That's what I always do before I buy any CD.
But if you aren't willing to spend the money to buy the boxset, then you probably don't want it bad enough. Don't you hate the feeling of having a "fake" anyways? Even if I have everything copied I'd still buy the real one just to have "genuine" item.

Maan, have I caused a rukus ( can't remember how to spell it...brain fart...) Well, I WOULD like to buy the genuine edition, but, I just can't afford it. If anything at all...I mean, I didn't know bootlegging and copying CD's was illegal...So, I'm sorry...and I appologize for offending you. But, I'm not lazy, I work very hard in school and make honor role out of GT classes. So, I do try hard, I'm just not rich.
You can't tell the whole story after reading the first page...

lol. Hmm...
I hardly think $70 is much. When I bought the set for $100, I was out of work (No gov.cash). Could just afford it by selling something I owned - and it was soooo worth it.
My advice, like someone has already said, listen to some mp3s that are lying around places. But don't get someone to copy the cds. You'll want to read the book at the same time because there are notes/stories for every track. And it brings the experience up a level upon listening for the first time. Hate to use this one but, the first listen cannot be repeated. The feeling won't be the same.
Just some friendly advice.

It seems these people think you have to be RICH to purchase these items... Well, I'm not RICH at all - I just prefer spending my money on stuff which I LIKE instead of paying 2 euros for a glass of beer in a disco/club, which I HATE. I don't give a fuck if people copy stuff, but they shouldn't come asking for it here, at a FAN-forum. People who download stuff WHICH IS EASILY AVAILABLE in the shops are not fans (at all) in my opion.
