The battery is near the bed. You have to face the "empty" wall and clikc on the left bottom.

I solved this one sometime long ago. Dunno if you've tried it yet, but you have to click certain things many times in a row. Like, shake the curtains and in the end something will fall down. Same goes for blanket on the bed... When done with this, there is a Crimson Room 2 as well, Viridian room. http://www.fasco-cs.com/works/viridian/index_e.html
