Okay, it's time for this year's corniest music competition - The Eurovision Song Contest.

Anyone else who is going to watch it? Any favourites?

I vote for Ukraine's Wild Dance.

I'm going to watch it (because I like being in pain, obviously). I hope the superbly annoyingly nasally singing Albanian wins with the "yet another Oh, so forgettable piece of bland pop".

there are few good songs
fortunatelly Estonia didn't pass to final this year
thank god
a little less of that euro crap

but next year again

tho i think this years we had a good song.
but in this contest there is no fair voting anyway. usually neighbourcountries give more points to neighbourcountries

i think i'm going to watch it.... 50 minutes to go...

Well, I'm glad that Finland didn't get to the final. I've never really liked Jari.

Wonder when we manage to send a good artist with a good song to Eurovision? Don't think I'll see that day...

when there was song contest in Estonia, then Greece had great song I think

Michalis Rakintzis - S'agapo

And I like our last year's song - Ruffus - 80's coming back

but this wasn't typical eurosong. was kinda like oasis. but much better

and this year I like Croatia's song but I know that there are much better songs than that in finale, I've just seen clips of those songs)

well... guess I'll be watching then

How about that Bosnain guy? Like a hybrid between Sylvester and H from Steps!

God, I NEVER watch that. Couldn't care less about anything else. But it was inevitable to hear Max's song (the German guy) cos he went #1 in the charts and you couldn't go anywhere without getting this crap thrown at you.
So whoever enjoys this, have fun and i hope your favourite wins.

Bosnia and Germany are terrible! (sorry Sonja, I know you are from Germany...?)

But I really like Croatia (so sweet and emotional) and GBR's songs

Correct me if I'm wrong, but was that not her that looked very like Zena, Warrior Princess?

The fun has started ... the "voting". LOL!

EVERY year, Terry Wogan says the EBU has got to stop the biased political voting (I don't have to watch, I listen to his radio show) and EVERY year it's the same!
Yes, it's me. I'm back. I haven't lost my mind, it's backed up on a disk somewhere

Ah, but that would deprive Terry of at least 1/5 of his sardonic comments (which make the show worth watching in itself).

And how in the hell is Serbia's painfully non-descript excuse of a song getting so many votes?

SHIT!!!

I put my money on Greece and they only came 3rd.
Not those are losers who fall, but those who don't stand up.

Well, not only is the winning song from Ukraine totally forgettable (as all songs that win this contest have been for the past 20 years anyway) and bland as ever, but also incredibly bad with a capital B, beyond all criteria of quality. And those performers, who've dressed up in left-over costumes from the set of Xena - The Warrior Princess. I'll choose a bullet over this song anyday ;-)

Eurovision is complete bollocks - all the songs are crap and everyone votes politically rather than musically.

I would rather listen to Hot Space than Eurovision - that's how bad it is.
