I hated Bohemian Rhapsody for the longest time. :)
Now that I have your attention, this has never happened to me, except that I didn't used to like ADATR that much.

I hated ADATR for awhile, too. Now it just might be my second favorite album...

I didn't like Queen II the first time I heard it. I was looking through the lyrics booklet in the Crown Jewels collection, and I liked the lyrics to Funny How Love Is, so I played the entire CD, and found it pretty forgettable. Now, it's one of my favorite Queen albums, although I can take or leave Funny How Love Is.

I'd like to say that this has happened to me, but I can't think of an example. I still don't care for Jesus, White Man, Mustapha, Party, Khashoggi's Ship, a few more.
I think perhaps Ogre Battle is one I didn't used to like and now I do.

I never liked "Don't Try Suicide" and I do not know if I ever will. It sounded like filler when I first heard it and now that I know that so many other songs were passed over that were recorded at the time I like it even less. How does that make the final cut?
I never used to like the album version of "Staying Power" but after seeing the video of it at Milton Keynes, and having no other way to listen to that version, I have grown to like the studio version. It will have to do until I get the bootleg cd of Milton Keynes.

I LOVE "Don't Try Suicide"... it definitely doesn't sound like filler to me.

I quite like it myself... Not my favorite track on the album, but not the worst either in my opinion.

Same here. It's done very well live. I think so at least.

I used to not like Sheer Heart Attack. And while there are still one or two tracks that haven't yet grown on me enough that I don't skip them, the rest of it is quite probably at least in my top 5.
But I know I'll never like You Don't Fool Me and All God's People - if I wanted to be preached to I'd go to church.

I like All God's People in spite of the religious aspects. I just think it's an exciting track.

You Don't Fool me is great!
All God's people is good too, but Freddie screams a little too much in it. I don't know if scream is the right word, but I'm sure you know what I'm talking about. He does the same thing in One Year Of Love and many other songs.

I have to confess that, athough it is probably the best song ever - ill always dislike Bo Rhap, cos im fed up of hearing it! Ive never really liked 'Who Needs You' either.

Couldn't agree more. Look at the lyrics, then listen to the music, something is seriously not right here. What does "get on my tits" mean? I think it should have been cut for "A Human Body".
Speaking of The Game...I thought Sail Away Sweet Sister was cheeseball for a while, and then I got to appreciating the poetic quality.

I never really grew to like Don't Try Suicide or the album version of Staying Power. In general, I'm very open-minded about songs. I hate to say it, but I used to HATE Under Pressure. But then you listen to it over and over and over and it grows on you. There also came a time where I got tired of Bohemian Rhapsody because EVERYBODY had to play it all time for me (they meant well but...). As far as music videos, I don't think I'll ever learn to like Under Pressure or TYMD. Great, fantastic songs - but the videos could have been better - don't get me started on those G*d-awful Made In Heaven vids!!!

I have said this before and I will say it again now; love 'em or hate 'em, you have to admit the "Made In Heaven" videos are a damn sight better than a DoRo "cut-n-paste" video made from clips we have all seen a million times.
