One of the greatest rockers of Estonia, Gunnar Graps, singer and drummer, passed away last night. He was a true legend. He made rock, blues and jazz. His bands reminded Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, older Queen and so on. He was a excellent model for newer generations of rockers over here. He was only 52.
Notice boards are full of sad messages today. People from all around Eastern Europe are writing there. Thousands of rockers and just rock fans are grieving. And so am I. I compare him with Freddie. I cried when I became fan of Queen cause Freddie wasn't with us anymore
And I cried today when I watched special shows of Gunnar.
Probibly he has great funerals and great concert, dedicated to him. And I'm surely going to see the last show! He was one of the last true rockers over here so thatswhy I'm going to see the concert
I saw him last year while he was giving a show. he still rocked and made an audience rock too! He had plans to go touring in Russia, cause he was well known in Eastern Europe. This plan never came true :(
I just wanted to share this with you. Cause Estonian rock just made one step closer to dying.
