I find it amusing, and not surprising, that so few people have been to Northern Ireland.

Fuck all reason to come here anyway. Except for the fact that I live here.

Gosh, you'd think people would want to visit there for that reason alone ;-)

I haven't been to Northern Ireland because I always assume that, with an English accent, I was gonna have bullets wizzing past me morning, noon and night!!!!

Yes, people with English accents have to crawl 200 yards from the arrival lounge at the airport through a muddy trench to an armoured car. After passing through the radiation-poisoned demilitarised zone, you enter a re-education center where your voice is electronically changed so that you speak "Ulsterish." Whereupon you start talking shite like:

"Is he a protestant jew or a catholic jew"
"I'm not Irish I'm British"
"I'm showing my Irishness by supporting Scotland's Glasgow Celtic"
"I'm showing my Britishness by supporting Scotland's Glasgow Rangers"
"It's my traditional right to march down this road"
"I'll fight anybody to stay British - even the British"
" Irish people are the friendliest people in the world" and
"I'd never leave here, it's great"

Of course, I haven't lived there for nearly five years so it may have changed a little :)
