Ambitious try. Cant really say i added something new to the song. Queen backingtrack, me singing. Thats about it :)
Didnt have enough space to put it all out, but I guess its enough.

Pretty cool, dude. I could care less if it's not different. As long as it's good, I don't mind.
Peace,
Adam.

Almost horrible enough to be funny, but needs a little work.
hehe. Was it horrible? Maybe you could give me some consructive advice :P If the advice is: Stop singing, i dont want it. :)
And Adam, thank you for saying so. But I know it aint close to your work. I want to arrange the instruments too, but I need much more training to be able to. hehe

Just not bad at all. Honest.
Nice to dare such a thing!

pretty good :)
Well. trying to sing a Queen song makes me realize how big they were. Singing the song when you know the melody/words and they even do the music is one thing. I am impressed that they could come up with all the ideas for songs. Amazing.
Personally, I think your attempt is miles better than the BoRhap rubbish we had last week. IMO! That little phrase people like to use.

Must agree with Rien, really. Congratulations on daring this. And it really isn't bad at all, honestly.
Well Adam. I think Sebastian put a lot more effort into his version of BoRhap than I did with this one. It must have taken a lot a work for him to do it. I thought he did a good effort. It was very special though.
Thanks for positive feedback.

If you must. The effort and the result are very different things. It's like saying, "one man designed this car on his own! But unfortunately it can never be used because it's unsafe and awful looking!" If you see what I mean. :D
I can never congratulate someone for making something cack. lol

Not bad Another Roger.
I would have liked to hear the complete version. :)
Nice echo on the voice by the way, how did you get it?

Hehe. I know exactly what you mean. And what you are saying are of course correct. But when someone is trying the best he can, i think we can show them some respect. I agree that he could have done some things different. But there is no doubt that he is able to do music to a certain extent. he must have some knowledge at least.
That was a terrible post, but i am too tired to change it.

Simmer: I used Cool Edit Pro. In fact it was reverb i put on the voice, and its actually very easy.
I dont know about the whole song. Guess i could be able to upload it.

I'm the last one to purposely insult someone who is trying to do something, but that really is a bad vocal.
Perhaps you have the ability to sing well with some practice or training. One important first step would be to practice using the microphone properly to avoid those loud, unwanted 'boom' sounds.
I'm truly shocked that everyone is being so forgiving of such a performance. I guess I have to be the only bad guy here and tell the truth.
If you have webspace problems, one thing you could do is eliminate the synth intro. I've actually done a version of PTG which starts with piano from the karaoke mix rather than the synth, as it was performed live,

...and it works quite well.
