George Michael's Patience

Anyone bought this? Any thoughts on what it sounds like? I knew he was working on a new CD, but it's release last week snuck up on me.

I saw the CD at wal-mart the other night and previewed it in the little scanner thing, And what I heard, I was iffy about. His voice sounded as good as ever, But there was this annoying 'electronica' type of sound that swayed me from picking it up for now. Hope that helped!

He was on Oprah today. Did anyone watch his interview?

The Oprah interview was really good. I was never a big fan of his music, but I like how he came across in the interview and hope the album does very well.

I liked Older, but I wasn't to keen to his single Freeek. It sounds as if this new CD is more to the latter than the former.

I've got it for a while now, great stuff

Amazing, Please send me someone (Anselmo's song), American Angel, Freeek '04, Shoot the Dog, Flawless (Go to the city), Precious Box, all great tracks, the other ones are ok, but these ones are the strongest IMO

He's a great singer, I hope he goes back to the top

There's some decent stuff on it, but it's not his best by a long way.

Older was much better, and this one just sounds a bit lacklustre to me. His voice is good, but the musical ideas seem a bit lacking.
